Ambassador Akram specializes in multilateral diplomacy with wide experience at United Nations chapters in New York and Geneva.

As Pakistan’s representative to the United Nations in New York and Geneva, he applied his vast experience and diplomatic skills to promote and protect Pakistan’s vital national interests in multiple fields ranging from peace and security, disarmament, human rights, development and trade.

Munir Akram holds a Masters degree in Political Science and a Bachelors degree in Law from Karachi University, Pakistan.
